I have just redecorated the house….we got new bookshelves, which, amazingly, hold all of our books – for now. I can only imagine in a few weeks we’ll be busting at the seams. But for now we’re good. We just need to get some wall anchors and we’re golden. Since we’ve replaced our existing bookcases they have been refurbished into DVD holders, a booze holder, and a picture display. I have to say I’m pretty impressed with myself. I even placed the Bird of Paradise from the wedding over the stove and moved the red vases above the dishes. Yep yep, I’m pretty darn smart! With that being said I need to take new picsof the loft room/ and the living room/dining room. Since I’ll be out of town for a few days I’m hoping to take pics before the party and uploaded soon. Alright, that’s about it – Peace all!

Category: unmotivated LifeOkay I gotta blog – I know I said I wouldn’t return until July 20th but I’m just sooooo overwhelmed with everything I need to just spew for a bit and then i’ll be feeling a whole lot better.
So lets see – This past weekend we had Amanda’s Bacheloretter party! It was a good time, though a small group, but fun none-the-less. Cyndi gave us excellent massages! Then we played some games, and finally we had a pure romance party. It was a good time! Oh and we played some Wii 😀
I also found a Bassett Dresser for $30 at a yard sale this weekend! Score!!
Matthew and I saw Knocked Up last night too and it was GREAT! I really enjoyed it! Plus I had heard an interview with the director and Seth ____ on NPR right before hand and it just made me appreciate the movie even more. Really really really excellent – go see it!
Right now I’m trying to survive school. I have a paper due tomorrow that I’m working on (
), a posting due tomorrow for the same class (), An assignment due the 10th but technically due the 7th (), Comps next week (), all along with Amanda’s wedding the 16th, Rick visiting the 17th, our one year anniversary this Saturday, and trying to get ready for ALA the 22nd. ugh ugh ugh! I’m definitely getting stressed – plus my computer has been having some serious fits of retalliation – I know I need to reformat it but I just don’t have the time to back up all the information. And folks, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Seriously – right now I just want to sleep…I have tears in my eyes from how much i want to sleep. Not cool, not cool at all 😦
But at least it’s raining some here!
Oh and you all have any ideas for what to do on the one year anniversary please let me know! I just don’t have a clue! Send any suggestions my way please!!
